From the Iberia kitchen — appetizers and snacks, side dishes, built around what Gustavo keeps on the shelf.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp Iberia Guava Paste, sliced or cubed
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 wheel Brie cheese (8–12 oz)
- 2 tbsp pistachios, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- to taste Iberia Cuban Crackers, for serving
Method
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Place the Brie wheel in the center.
- Top the Brie with Iberia Guava Paste and chopped pistachios.
- Fold the pastry over the Brie, sealing the edges well, and place seam side down.
- Brush the pastry with beaten egg.
- Preheat the air fryer. Line the basket with parchment or a silicone liner.
- Air fry until the pastry is golden brown and crisp.
- Let rest briefly before slicing.
- Serve warm with Iberia Cuban Crackers.
